One of the Ronald McDonald Houses let us come tell some stories to its residents; some of whom were there from South Africa! One thing that we love about doing our events, is that alongside our planned material, the audience often determines the spice, if you will, added to each event. This time, as there were residents from South Africa, we ended up singing their national anthem; some knew it, while others joined in where they could.
It was such a pleasure meeting everyone, hearing children come up and ask us to play, or agree to participate on the spot. There was so much love in that space, and so much hope in the face of (very often) major tribulations.
